SUPPORT THE GS TROPHY TEAMS

The 2024 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy competition was held in Namibia this past Fall, with Germany taking first place in the Men's competition and the International Team taking first place in the Women's competition. The US Men's Team finished 15th overall this year, with a great effort by Scott Acheson, Billie DeWet, and Kirk Graydon.
Preparing for an opportunity to be crowned the top BMW GS riders in the world takes more than grit, determination, strength, and stamina. It also takes professional instruction and practice in a wide variety of conditions and on many different types of terrain.
It won’t be a surprise to you that all of this comes with a financial price tag as well. While BMW Motorrad paid for the travel to Namibia and covers associated expenses during the week of competition, it has traditionally been up to the competitors to pay all associated training costs in advance of the competition.
The BMW MOA Foundation, in cooperation with the MOA and US GS Trophy Team competitors and enthusiasts, has established a fund that directly supports the training, travel, and related expenses of BMW riders competing for the top of the podium in the International GS Trophy.
While the 2024 GS Trophy competition has ended, the fund will continue to support training and related expenses for competitive BMW riders and GS Trophy hopefuls for years to come.
