2026 Survey Results

2026 Survey Results

Beginning at the 2026 BMW MOA national rally in Vermont and continuing over a period of about four weeks in June and July, we asked MOA community members to answer a short questionnaire about current and potential MOA Foundation priorities. If you were one of the hundreds of riders that completed the survey, thank you! Here’s a look at what we learned.

Responses from just under 1000 participants showed strong support for current initiatives, including funding for Paul B. Individual Rider Training Rebates and the Historical Archive/Museum. This is consistent with the Foundation’s history of donor support for both established programs.

When asked about potential future initiatives, survey responses indicated strong interest in programs for young and first-time riders, military veterans, first responders, and injured riders. While it is true that the programs currently funded by MOA Foundation grants are designed for all riders, including the above-named groups, the responses suggest that there may be additional ways to support the community by providing programs that target the unique needs of these groups.

Thank you to all who took time to share thoughts and ideas with us through this listening campaign. Your responses are being considered as we periodically review and discuss our strategic plan. With your help, we are making a difference in the lives of riders as we fund programs that protect riders, promote community, and preserve the rich heritage of motorcycling.
