PAUL BACHORZ SAFETY TRAINING REBATES FOR INDIVIDUALS

Apply for a Paul Bachorz Rider Safety Training Rebate

The Paul Bachorz Rider Safety Training REBATE

The Paul Bachorz Rider Safety Training Rebate was established in 2011 to honor the memory of Paul Bachorz. Paul was an avid BMW motorcyclist with a big heart and a love for the BMW riding community. He was an active member of the BMW MOA and a regular contributor to the BMW Owners News as editor of the “Touring Tips” column. Paul was also a member of his local chapter, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Vermont who generously provided the seed money to establish a fund in his memory. The MOA Foundation has continued to fund the program on an annual basis to further our mission supporting rider safety, education and training.

The purpose of the Paul Bachorz Rider Safety Training Rebate is to assist individual riders in pursuing professional rider education and training opportunities by helping to reduce the cost to riders. The Foundation reimburses MOA members for up to 25% of the cost of participating in an approved training course with a minimum rebate of $50 and a maximum rebate of $200 per individual per year.

To apply for the rebate, complete and submit the form below. Requests must include a description of the training along with the name of the training provider, cost, location, and dates of the training. Applicants can expect to be contacted by the Foundation within 30 days of submitting a request.

Applications are evaluated on a first come, first served basis with priority given to MOA members. Requests received after 60 days past the training date will not be honored. Rebates are subject to available funds and not guaranteed until approval is granted by the Foundation. Paul B. Rider Training Grants are limited to a maximum of $200 per year for MOA members and $100 per year for non-members. Training programs or events subsidized by the MOA Foundation may not be eligible for Paul B. Training Rebates.

Should you need any assistance completing the form please call us at 864-438-0962 during regular business hours or email [email protected].

Thanks, Paul B. Your friends and fellow BMW riders continue to be touched by your generosity.
